Nice little museum... you can taste different types of chocolates... chocolate demonstration is not really how they make the chocolate but more a very quick and basic demonstration on how they make different chocolate shells with fillings... the English translation however is not that great...

Have low expectations and you will like it.
A compact exhibit with an interesting demonstration of actual manufacturing.
45 min are more than enough.

Another small museum to see if you are at Grand Place in Brussels is the Chocolate museum. The museum is is very small and the exhibition is on the first and second floor in a townhouse just on the side of the square, the museum takes you through the discovery of cocoa and chocolate and the manufacturing and use of it. At the ground floor there is a live demonstration ever half hour by a master chocolatier.

Meh. We had a Brussels card so got in for free (fortunately). Would have been quite annoyed if we'd paid. It was very disappointing, even the free chocolate didn't really make up for it. The demonstration was probably the best bit. Chocolate Village across the city is much better.

Very fun experience for only €6. The making of praline demonstration alone is worth it. A very funny and talented chef shows you how praline is made. There is a lot of chocolate to taste and there are a few floors explaining the history of chocolate and how it's made.

Absolute recommended!
