Great food, location, and vibe, but not so much in the customer "so- called" service.

Maybe I'm old, but don't know when verbally "thanking" (or even pleading with) cashiers or food servers became the norm. I always thought the opposite was true and if said cashier or server actually provided "service" your tip reflected appreciation for it.

At the Independent however, we have found that the entitled attitudes of the staff significantly detract from an otherwise positive experience.

Great little place. Nice outside seating if you want to. Suprisingly the food is delicious. The kitchen looks small but what great food. Now.....about their Lattes. YUMMY. We played cards outside at a table. Folks at other tables were visiting, busy on computers or just enjoying a meal or just having a drink. Great atmosphere here.

Very eclectic bar in Tampa' s up and coming neighborhood. Good selection for beer & good food. Relaxing , not loud..music on deck on weekends..DOG FRIENDLY

Our neighborhood bar and cafe! We love love love Indie! Huge beer selection, yummy wine, and delicious food. Great breakfast & coffee as well.

Nice Seminole Heights area bar with a good beer selection. When a tap runs out they put up a new beer and different style. A bit hipster but a nice bit of quirkiness
