Becky's Diner

One cannot go to Portland without going to get a bite to eat at Becky's. This little diner's above several (somewhat) good restaurants in this little Maine town. The good service, the good food makes this eatery feel like home. Can't wait for more when I get back. We did the 6 hour drive almost only for Becky's!!

Had a great breakfast here. The place was crowded and we had to wait about 20 minutes, but once we got seated, service was fast and friendly. Coffee was good, and over-easy eggs were done perfectly. Seemed like a local favorite with friendly atmosphere; clientele was about a 50/50 mix of locals and travelers.

Wasn't too busy but the service was slow, server only checked on us once in the hour and a half we were there. Ordered a soda and a water and was given 2 Waters and had to ask for the soda again. Only received 2 biscuits with 3 meals. Food was good. Only received 1 refill on our drinks and sat empty most of our meal. Ordered a baked potato with everything on it and received a baked with nothing on it, not even cut open with butter... I believe in giving everyone a second chance so I will return. I did tip 14 on a 65 bill. I'm looking forward to my next visit... Will keep you posted. Roger S.

Great diner with a unique Maine spin. Lots of the standard diner entrees are there with a personality. For example, the home fries were deep fried. I also enjoyed the cheese and lobster omelette. I was disappointed that they could not do eggs Benedict. Great place and worth the wait.

Super friendly staff.. great food! Awesome atmosphere. Very mom and pop feel. Only in Portland for a couple hours and I'm glad I stopped here! THEIR DESSERTS ARE TO DIE FOR!!! Chocolate cake was so good I wish I bought the whole cake!
