I am a postitive optimistic person, but this has really stretched my grace giving. I came here because of the great reviews. I scheduled an appt for brows and liner for 10 am, but no one there to meet me, ( I should have gone home) the technician/owner was 10 minutes late, let me in and proceeded to talk on her phone for another 5 minutes. No apologies. Ok, I can deal with it and extend grace. I came with my make up on so she could see what I like. As a nurse, I was looking for a way to cut down my morning routine. We then talked a bit, she took pictures and she then proceeded to do what SHE thought best, NOT what I requested, in fact quite the opposite. She created a higher arch on the upper part of my brow and removed some of my lower brow WITHOUT permission. ( I already have thin brows, that's why I fill them in.) When she showed me the result, she could tell I wasn't pleased, but assured me, they will be beautiful! She shared with me, as she was working on my brows, that she had one client who was coming back for her 20th touch up trying to make her brows right. Now I know why. I will however say she did a good job on my eye liner.
On the way out the door, she said very empahtically " do not call me tomorrow!" this will take time to set. I replied, I won't as I understood that already. It took several weeks to look more normal, which I expected, but I didn't expect to see bald areas. When you pay hundreds of dollars for a service or product, it should be complete and guaranteed. I thought the appt scheduled for the follow up was to complete the brow if needed and was part of the original price. NOT! She actually wanted more money for that. I can understand paying for a touch up once your brows are completed, but not MORE money TO complete them. We don't do that for any other service, why this?
In any case, because she didn't listen to my request the first time, which I paid hundreds for, I choose not to follow up, fearing who knows what I will walk out with. After all, this is my face, and it's not like you can hide it. I will continue to fill in the areas needed, as I did in the past.

I am beyond satisfied with the condition of my skin since I've been getting facials from Martha. I totally trust her recommendations for product and skin care and the chemical peels and detox facials she's done for me make breakouts few and far between. Plus Martha is just a sweet person-not too chatty, always a smile and not always trying to push product on me. I've been to about 10 different local estheticians since 2001 and none of them have produced results that even come close to how my skin looks and feels now. Thank you Martha!!

You haven't had an eyebrow wax until you've had one from Martha! It was the best one I've had in YEARS! She really takes an interest in making you look your best! I also had a nearly pain-free brazilian. I can't wait to go back and try one of her facials...if she is as talented with that as with her waxing, I'm in for a treat!
