Amazing, charming gem for the discerning, sophisticated traveler. Called at 10pm without a reservation and received excellent service getting us in that night. Only compliments, no complaints. Cheers, MM

Great hotel. Rooms are beautiful. There are a few growing pains as the hotel does not have regular staff present. Entering the hotel is by digital code, but our code was not available when we arrived. Fixed quickly, but disconcerting. Otherwise, very responsive to our requests. We stayed in the Jordan room. Lots of space and comfortable. We will go back.

The hotel is beautifully decorated and the staff are attentive and friendly. When the manager learnt it was our wedding anniversary she called me to arrange some extra services which was a nice touch. The rooms are really big and well appointed and it feels more like staying in a small homely apartment than a hotel. I would also like to highlight an incident where the hotel staff really went beyond what was expected: The hotel guest in the room next to us had clearly been smoking (against hotel policy) and the smell permeated our room. When I made the hotel aware of this they immediately moved us to another room without any hesitation and sent us a cheese tray the next day as an apology, even though the smoking guest was beyond their control. This kind of great service and the convenient location of the hotel near the caverns and Shenandoah NP will make us definite repeat customers
