The food was great...the portions were generous...but we felt VERY RUSHED. We had only taken a couple of sips of our cocktails when the appetizers came to the table. We were not even half way through our appetizers when our entrees were brought to the table. I finally had to call our waitress over and tell her to take the entrees back and not to serve them until we had at least finished eating the sppetizers.
We had come out on a Saturday evening for an enjoyable dining experience at an established, upscale restsurant in the heart of Columbia...what we got instead felt like we were participating in a contest to see how fast the Wait Staff could make us eat and then clear the table for the next covers

Nice spot to chill, relax and have a meal. The service was great and the food well seasoned. The food and palette had a memorable meeting. The complimentary collard greens is a must try.

Excellent server (Paul) and fantastic food. My father has been all over the world eating at amazing places and he wouldn't stop raving about the crab cakes. My salmon was super fresh and cooked perfect - wife's grits and shrimp was top notch. Look forward to going there again.

It was my first time here today and I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. Ashley was excellent with our orders and her hospitality speaks volumes. I will definitely be back. Oh yes, the food was awesome. I enjoyed the shecrab soup and the chicken pasta.

From the start of planning my event I was worried because the Event Planner Rachel seemed to be easy going and my concerns that we discussed via email seemed to be minor. But now I understand why. Rachel and the staff that made this event possible were incredible. I quickly realized that they were experts at this! Yes, it was a little more than I initially wanted to spend but I didn't know what we would be getting. the separate room, attention to our individual needs, food portion and quality, personable staff waiting on us, and the ability to accommodate and last minute issues. If/When I have another event in the Columbia area or I just need dinner, I will definitely be back. You guys are all super stars at the restaurant but I want to especially call attention to Rachel Hawkins, Amanda Clark, and Mike Jones. Job well done!!!
