Shocked at the level of care my husband received from the Advanced Practitioner NURSE! he was at the walk in centre a day before(as he had a panick attack, almost fainted and vomitted) and the Dr at the walk in advised to see gp to have bloods done. This nurse he saw at Enki didn't check any vitals, told my husband he is going to die if he doesn't loose weight and told him he looks like someone that can have anxiety attacks...(first time it ever happened to him)had no empathy towards him what so ever! As a health professional myself, I felt disgusted at the level of care and her stink attitude!

I have been a patient at Enki Medical Centre for approx 10 years. I have never been so disgusted with their service, or lack thereof. Jasbir Bains displayed total lack of professionalism, hygiene and basic customer care.

The purpose of my visit was to receive vaccinations to travel abroad. Jasbir Bains repeatedly asked questions about my vaccination history - which I clearly advised I am unable to recall, and advised her to refer to my medical records. Once she took the time to read the records she then advised that offers for vaccines such as Flu and Pneumonia had been declined.

Jasbir Bains then went on to list the various injections I would require in order to travel to the Dominican Republic, in a tone which suggested I was somewhat of a burden.

Jasbir Bains then approached me with two needles, proceeded to lift the sleeve of my tshirt, then immediately attempted to inject me. At this stage she had not washed her hands or cleaned the area she planned to pierce the needle through.(Usually when I have a blood test, the nurse cleans the area then advises that I may feel a sharp scratch)

I immediately stopped her and asked whether she is going to clean the area. To which she replied " I don't need to...we always do this".
When i stated that "it is a basic requirement to clean the area in preparation for an injection"...Jasbir replied "I don't need to clean the area, your skin looks clean."
When I asked "why aren't you explaining that you are about to inject," Jasbir replied "I already told you which vaccinations you're having today."
When I stated "an explanation is basic compassion for someone who is about to have an injection"
She asked "do you want me to sit down."
I replied "no, i need my injections for holiday."

Jasbir proceeded with the injections - failing to clean the areas prior to administration. Jasbir did not say please or thankyou during the appointment and did not advise of any side effects or enquire as to whether I drove to the appointment.

Jasbir advised of when the follow up appointments are due - and did not advise of alternative options upon discovering that there is no available appointment for my 3rd visit. When asked if "do you have any suggestions regarding the 3rd appointment and whether it is possible to request contact in the event a slot becomes available," Jasbir replied "we don't have the time".

Jasbir then stopped speaking and waited for me to leave the room. Jasbir did not advise of any potential side effects. Prior to leaving I asked "are we are finished and is there is anything else I need to do."

Jasbir replied "no."

I then stated "I hope that you are happy" and left the surgery without asking for the complaints procedure.

I do not know what I could have possibly done to deserve such poor attitude, however I shall begin a formal complaint on 12th May 2017.
I have been seen by Jasbir Bains previously and can recall a display of attitude in that instance - however not to this extent. I doubt I am the first patient to be treated in this manner, but sincerely hope I am the last.

NO ANSWER :(

Called 30 times, yes, you read that right, 30 TIMES (!) this morning (Monday 03/Apr/2017) from 8 am until 9 am but the surgery's number is CONSTANTLY busy. I have no choice now but to go in person to the GP practice and speak to a receptionist and hopefully book a Doctor's call back that way ... The telephone booking system needs to be sorted out ASAP; this is simply unacceptable.

Awful surgery, don't look at fancy building. Worst ever system to book an appointment, can't prebook when requested. Must have to ring at 8 in morning, they never considered people with night shifts, how they would ring at 8 in morning? I'm thinking to change the Dr surgery. Never got antibiotics when requested even though I pay for prescriptions, always been referred to paracetamol. Wish I could have given them lower the one star. Terrible
