Location of Novatel is handy and central with lots of bars and restaurants nearby. Short walk to the shops also. Rooms were clean and comfortable, staff were friendly and helpful. Only negative was the price of food - breakfast was £14 or room service breakfast was £19! Considering the variety of cafes and restaurants nearby, there was no way we would have paid that. Overall would recommend and return

Great, convenient stay. Near lots of take away places and restaurants. Closer to the side of town with a younger crowd but walking distance to the main centre. Friendly staff, excellent buffet breakfast and a modern establishment. Lacking minor touches like an in-room safe, joined toilet to the bathroom and place in the shower for your wash bits. Overall, a great short stay. (Review based on a family room)

Stay her regularly due to work.
Check in and out was smooth and problem free.
Bar service was excellent and enjoyed the bar tenders who were happy to talk, even when they tried to tell the £5 not was out of date thinking it was a Bank of England one 😂
Breakfast was ok, the only issue is the hot breakfast which isn’t great sitting under the hot lights for so long. But I’m used to it now and the other stuff is really good. Would be nice to have granola in cereal area.
Find the separate toilet annoying as it’s so small and the toilet roll holders are a stupid design so they fall off so easily. Other than that the room was perfectly adequate for my stay.
Overall a pleasant couple of nights.

I was in Glasgow Novotel to deliver a seminar in the hotel and also have a short break.We arrived quite late but the staff on reception were very helpful and polite. There was a slight issue with my membership details but it was sorted out very quickly and without any fuss. We had upgraded our room to an executive and it was a good size and very clean. Having a proper desk and a sofa in the room was great and allowed me to work while my husband could relax without getting in each others space. The housekeeping service was excellent, the young lady who looked after our room was pleasant and thorough in her job. Although we did not have an evening meal in the hotel, the bar area was lively and the staff attentive and helpful. The only reason I have given an 8 is that the breakfast was not as good as I have experienced in other Novotels. We were in Scotland but there was not any traditional Scottish fare available such as Haggis or potato cakes, the porridge had to be ordered and when it came it was very thick and a bit unpalatable. As my husband is of Scottish heritage he was quite disappointed by this. The training room was large and very well laid out, the ambience was just right. The room host was very good and made sure my delegates had everything they needed. Treats such as cookies, breakfast bars and fruit was available all day. Lunch was very good and well presented. Everyone commented on the good size of the portions and the flavour of the food. We would definitely stay again and would recommend it as a good hotel for the price.

The very helpful staff stored our numerous pieces of luggage prior to check-in time. We were also afforded a late check out for our own convenience. The room, amply comfortable, clean and well stocked. Walkable to town center. I would most definitely recommend this hotel.
