The food was delicious at the time. However those of us that ate the meat rare developed severe stomach illness issues during the night after eating ruining the last day of our trip to Phuket. I see from a previous review that this is not the 1st time this has happened.

A lovely little restaurant with an acceptable wine list (350% govt tax). The owner was delightful- a charming Italian who opened this restaurant 2 years ago. The ribs and the tenderloin were outstanding. We would go back if we were here longer.

Benny's was the best night out we had in Thailand. So good that we went back a second time. The meals were amazing, the cocktails perfect and Benny and his staff were lovely. I had the chicken both nights - cooked perfectly and the red wine sauce was delicious. My wife had the lamb - being from Australia we know a thing or two about lamb and she commented that it was probably the best she has ever had. My son ordered the ribs which he had great fun eating - they were cooked perfectly and not too rich and sticky like most bbq ribs. The music and vibe was great. Thanks Benny - we will see you again next year.

Benny's is a little slice of sophistication in Surin Beach. From the cocktails to the entrees to the dessert to the music, everything is 10 stars. My sole just fell off the fish, the roast chicken was crisp on the outside, moist all the way through. Prices are reasonable given the quality of the food. The staff was excellent.
