The entry is nice,the expositions are precise and interesting(in French Italian and English), they have Braille and the thing that climbs stairs for people in a rolling-chair and it's not that expensive but they should put a little more toilets.

Excellent museum. I particularly enjoyed ants exhibition and mineralogical collection. Great museum for kids and adults.

Free entrance. Nice place to visit with kids. The Museum is Switzerland's largest natural history museum. Its collections present the fascinating world of animals and minerals.

It's FREE to visit and perfect for a rainy day. It takes a couple of hours to walk around and is great for families with young children. The displays are done incredibly well, different from the other natural history museums I've been to. They're very colourful, interactive and fun. Most of the information is written in French on the information boards so keep that in mind. There's three floors with a permanent exhibition and a temporary one on the top floor which you have to pay for. They have a restaurant which serves a daily dish for 14CHF and when I went it was delicious. They also have a selection of drinks and cakes for a few CHF. To top it off, they have a resident two headed tortoise!!

Very nice museum. The permanent exhibit is shown on three floors and the entrance is free. The only thing missing is an explanation of the families of animals displayed. The animals are sometimes repeated in different categories and there are few signs in English. The display cabinet have very nice light and kids can see them well too.
