A gourmet meal. Expensive and worth it. Very fresh and some local stuff. We had the fixed menu- traditional herring app was the best I've had, delicate and not too strongly flavored. The nettle soup was unusual and delicious. The lamb and lake whitefish main courses were both delicious - can't decide which was better. Homemade rhubarb crumble and ice cream were perfect. Just don't order the wine pairing menu - for 300SEK I got 2 glasses of white wine with my meal which wasn't worth it. But I was so happy with the food I didn't care. Also great location on the waterfront!

Very proud of the consistency of my hometown restaurant. Always amazing food and great service. The place to visit when in Mariestad.

My meal was gross. I got the chickpea hamburger. The patty was not cooked nor even a patty. The consistancy was like gravy--looser than hummus. When I complained, I was told that "it is a loose burger." No apology.
