Radisson Blu Scandinavia Hotel, Gothenburg

Very good location, close to the train station, heart of the city with lots of shopping malls and restaurants around. I would rate staff courtesy as just "good". Many hotels provide bicycles to their customers for commute within the city, but its a shame Radisson Blu don't !

We prefer this hotel for the second time. Very nice experience for the second time too. Location is one of the best in Gothenburg. Rooms are very good, there are 3 different concepts. Breakfast is also very good.

The overall experience is better than OK. However, they seem to switch off the AC at midnight which is surprising! I called the ‘One touch service’ and spoke to gentleman called Derek!! He offered me 2 solutions which made me think if I ever should stay Radisson. Option 1. Please open your windows. Option 2. Would you like to change the room (at 2AM in the morning). However, I requested him to check the AC as it is controlled by them remotely and to reduce the temperature. After a few minutes, I see the AC label at my room saying it’s still ‘Off’. I called them again and this time fortunately I didn’t get Derek. It was switched on immediately.

We always enjoy our stays at Radisson Blu, and this hotel was no exception! Wonderfully comfortable beds in recently renovated rooms (ours was the very classy "Vintage" style) and an extensive Radisson Blu buffet breakfast as you'd expect. The location is excellent, just across from the Central train station and very near a large shopping mall if you need anything. It's a very short walk to the lovely pedestrian part of the city, and parks with walking paths and ducks in the river. We absolutely enjoyed our stay, and would definitely choose this hotel again!

Large and spacious room. CLEAN and inviting with a bit of the retro decor (which we liked). Great breakfast lay out too. Front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful, if I remember correctly his name was Stephan. The hotel is a walking distance to many great restaurants and shopping. We really enjoyed our stay there! Would love to come back to Göteborg again!
