Alsur Café has three different establishments around Barcelona, and luckily enough, one of these three is in El Born. Alsur Café is the perfect mixture of an informal place where you can enjoy a good variety of tapas, pastries plus desserts and an elegant establishment with its lounge atmosphere and great selection of music in the background. If you’re walking around the historical neighborhood with a group of friends, Alsur Café is the perfect place to make a stop.

We had extremely good and big Sangria and delicious little snacks with pesto sauce, accompanied with fresh vegetables. This place is cosy, signs on boards are hilarious and I can say that it is possible to have a great time here. Inside is better than average outside.

We had a great brunch here. This place has a very nice terrace on a lovely square, surrounded by various other restaurants. The food and drinks are delicious but the staff seemed a little stressed. We had to wait quite some time before they took our order, but the food was definitely worth the wait. .

I love this place. They have really good coffee and nice food.
The vibe there is great too.
I just find the place quite over priced. No where else in Barcelona do you pay nearly 4€ for coffee... but then again, the coffee is certainly better than most other cafés, so i suppose they manage to get away with it :)

Be aware!!! Great food. Nice staff. Robbers stealing from the guests even inside the restaurant!!! Just happened to us. My friend had her bag stole. We just find out when we were leaving the place. We were told, that was not the first time this week.
