For a backpack hotel it is pretty good, but like everything in Norway expensive. Helpful staff, good kitchen where you can cook, good bed, etcetera. Nice wooden building, good view and in the center. Supermarkets and shops nearby.

Plain standard, clean, virtualy in the city centre. Limited reception opening hours. Rooms available both with separate or shared bathroom

I stayed here in December 2016.
Pros:
-Friendly and helpful staff.
-Comfortable big bed.
-Not too far from the centre and the bus stop to the airport.
Cons:
-Not easy to clim up the hill with big luggage in winter, especially when the road are all covered with snow. Ver slippery and difficult to walk up to the hotel, quite dangerous!!! -No lift in the hotel. -You can see mould on the bathroom floor.
-Kitchen closes ridiculously early at 18:00. And after that you can't even get hot water to drink or make tea/coffee. With the price we pay, we should at least get a kettle in the room or in the common room for everyone to use. I remember the day I stayed in there, after walking in the rain the whole afternoon, I got back to the hotel with wet clothes and feeling freezing but to find that they didn't even provide hot water to drink. I felt so upset and exhausted. The staff only said you can get some from the city centre. I almost cry by that time, hating myself for booking this hotel. Not worth the money at all. I know everything is expensive in Norway, but a kettle shouldn't cost you a lot of fortune....

Nice staff, small but clean rooms with adequate showers. The kitchen is nice if you're on a budget and your 5-10 mins walk from everywhere in the center. Would stay there again.

2-bedroom apartment is quite nice: spacious, kitchen with cooking equipment, cozy beds. However, there was no housekeeping during the 4 days and 3 nights we stayed, and only one key is available while there are 4 people of us. Hair dryer needs to be borrowed.
However, its triple room, where we stayed for the first night, is unbelievably small. Since there is no elevator, be careful if you have heavy luggages. You may have to carry them up to the 3rd floor.
