Brilliant place with an extensive Belgian beer menu and great food on offer. It's a busy place but with attentive staff and friendly atmosphere I can't fault anything.

Wish I could give only half a star! Went to try their Tuesday steak special. To only find out that they had changed in to a beef schnitzel. To our better judgement we gave it a try being, after being told it was good and really good value for money. Big mistake. Super greasy, beef was dry, very bland and no sauce on the side (apparently it's another ($2.50). Will never go here again.

We just happened upon this place so decided to stop in for breakfast. The food was incredible. The bartender was also extremely friendly. We told him we had just arrived to Auckland so he took the time to write down the names of 4 bars we should visit along with their locations. If we lived in Auckland I would definitley frequent this place.

Belgian beers, Belgian sausages, Belgian flags, oh my! Haha I'm going to be a regular here for sure (they do have a loyalty program too, even though the website registration is terrible on mobile). If unfamiliar with staff accents, know that they may be from all over (local, France, Belgium, etc). The mains are delicious, or at least delicious looking.... Belgian sausages were perfect. Prices not too bad for the quality and selection of both beer and food.

The mussels should be what you are coming here for. They have either the steamed mussels or grilled mussels. Visiting this place on Monday between 1pm-4pm or 6pm will get you a special promotion with the mussels.

The mussels are fresh and big. Steamed in many choices of sauce. I would recommend the shrimp bisque sauce.
Would be a good idea to bring more than 2 people to help you.

Very crowded and cramped.
