Hotel was being painted which we were not notified about. Room smelled terrible gave us a headache and nauseous feeling....no sleeping well that night. Asked for a room away from the elevator. Talked into room 102 next to elevator. This room had a step down that everyone fell over. Thin towels, no tea in room or tea pot. TV faced more towards the wall then the bed, shower door opened on the sink....Husband asked for ice. He
was told he would get it in 1 hour or 24 hours...ice never arrived....recharged credit card after account was listed as paid on our bank statement....Held our bags and assisted with local,metered parking then when we asked to use the toilet just before we left told "Sorry, No" the downstairs toilet was off limits due to painting....Bare minimum in amenities and staff was not helpful. Would not stay here or recommend this hotel to others.

You can still smell the fresh paint for this newly renovated hotel.
As you can see in the pictures, the room is very clean and well organized. All guest officers are very accomodating and always smiling which makes your day a little bit brighter even in this cloudy day.
Buffet breakfast is reasonable for 12 euros.

The location is good, about 20 mins by walking from the Versailles Palace. The building is very nice, since it is an old place. However, it is not adequate if you go with children or wheelchair (several stairs with no elevator option). The rooms are not luxury or large at all. The service is good and the place is clean. However, they do not have air conditioning. In our case, the lock of the room was semi-broken (to close it you have to spend 15 mins) and they didn't seem to have intention to fix it.

4 stars just for the breakfast. Finally, no carpet in the room but got laminate floor.
