I went in to get help with food they approved me then stared to help load into my vehicle and a older black man came out started yelling about how they dont help people in burkburnett ( wichita county) and took all the food back and was very rude about it. I've never asked anyone for help and the first time i do i get treated like my life or my kids lifes don't matter.... The man was very unprofessional, uncaring, disrepectful, and needs some manors and compassion...

I was informed the wrong information
By the woman who interviewed me she was super kind and willing to help me due to my situation. Even went to ask her so-called boss. She came back and told me she had great news. Only to find out they turned me down.IF HELP IS WHAT YOU'RE LOOKING FOR THIS IS NOT THE PLACE AT ALL

They helped me after the '79 tornado with my rent. And I think they have since helped my daughter. I think you have to be the first of so many in line when they first open to get help, but it has been a long time since I needed their help, so don't know how things are now.

Although I was grateful they helped me, they did seem to have a look and attitude of looking down their noses at (me).
