I don't ever leave reviews but I felt the need to for this place.. I was running some errands in the mall and didn't really have time to go anywhere else. So I stopped by China Pantry for some simple Chinese food. I paid about $10 for a quite a bit of food. This is the worst Chinese food I've ever had. Everything is just mush (like one review I saw said). Chicken in some different sauce.. that's all it is.. had a stomach ache after eating about half of it.

I usually don't live reviews , but this is my favorite place to get my food , i see reviews that say it is terrible and i just think to myself "how?" I think they are great😁

Typically I wouldn't bother writing a review about fast food Chinese in a mall. I mean, you eat there and you’re not exactly expecting a five star experience, are you? But this place is truly terrible.
First, I'm not from San Angelo. My husband has been on the base for a bit and took me around town when I came to visit. I first noticed China Pantry on a Friday in the mall, and noticed that even though closing wasn't for another couple of hours, they had already stopped refilling the different options and only had maybe two entrees to choose from.
We came back Sunday for lunch because I was in the mood for Chinese, we were nearby, and my husband swore that while it wasn't great it was the best Chinese I was going to get in San Angelo. Boy, would I hate to see what the other places are like.
The food is terrible, and little better then mush soaked in mystery sauce. It all tasted the same and is barely identifiable as chicken The egg rolls actually made me gag they tasted so poor, and then to top it off I found a hair in my rice. Obviously, I didn't finish my meal. Had to throw it out.
