The worst experience with an insurance company EVER! Under insured the whole time and instead of fixing the problem they dropped me. I was run around in circles for two months about why I was under insured. THE WORST! Luckily I never had an accident.

My home insurance is with another company but David T Hicks is my agent through Allstate. I really wish I had a different agent. Someone that is more helpful and reliable. So far David T Hicks's office has been a terrible experience for me when it comes to customer service. It was about two months ago when I received a renewal declaration for my home insurance. For some reason my premium went up from ~$525 to ~$710. I contact David T Hicks to inquire... the office says they will look into it and call me back. Okay that is fine.... I call back the next week to follow up.... they say they are still working on it... okay.... so i call back again next week to follow up.... same thing I forget about it for about a month... and then call back.... they say sorry... yeah sorry for forgetting about me.. and not doing any work. So this time the guy seems to be a bit more helpful... tells me he sees something different in my rate.. and it should be $518. Okay cool... I ask if he can send it to me via e-mail. He says he will have to scan it... and send it to me. Okay cool.... It is a week later and I haven't gotten anything. AND..... I check my mortgage account.. and see that $710 has been taken out of escrow.... so the guy didn't know what the Hell he was talking about. I'm not sure if it was David who I spoke with.. but if it wasn't just means his workers don't know anything and don't give a crap. Pay a little more attention to your clients... please.

Update - So I decided to change insurance companies. And guess what... David T Hicks finally decided to call me back... to confirm that I was changing insurance companies. Thanks for calling me back after four months.

David Hicks and his staff has provided my family's insurance needs for the last several years. He always takes the initiative to ensure that we are getting the best possible coverage at the best possible price. He is great to work with and goes above and beyond to help, however he can.

David Hicks is absolutely awful. There's no other way to describe it. He did nothing correctly. He cost me unnecessary expenses with his mistakes. I even almost lost a business account because of his incompetence. I had both a commercial auto policy and general liability policy with him. After a few weeks, I was informed that I could not carry commercial auto insurance because even though the car was used solely for business purposes, it was not purchased in the business's name (something he SHOULD have known and told me). As a result, I asked to cancel the commercial auto. Instead of doing this, he cancelled my GENERAL LIABILITY insurance for my business! Didn't even tell me. As I was trying to increase my general liability coverage with him (and getting nothing but excuses about him needing to get back to me and NEVER calling me back), I went to another agent and THEY informed me that he had cancelled my policy. As an operating business, this could have cost me my accounts. He is absolutely terrible. I don't know if he has no idea what he's doing or if he just doesn't care. I called Allstate Corporate and demanded they move all of my policies to another agent and I couldn't be happier now that I no longer need to deal with him. DO NOT USE THIS AGENT!
