I have ordered many times from the guys at Alphonso’s. If you’ve never been to the shop, stop by and you’ll see so much character in such a small place. The shop is still using the same pizza oven that was in there since I think 1965. It is a single pizza oven. Not a conveyor belt system that rolls out crappy pizzas. The oven holds about 10-12 pizzas depending on the size. The crew is awesome and polite. They make the dough and sauce from scratch. Fresh cut veggies prepped daily. The delivery drivers are cool as well. Ordered again today and they said that with the Packer game they were about an hour and 15 minutes. It was about an hour and 20 minutes. Pizza was perfect as always. Ladies and Gentlemen if you want your pizza fast order from the cookie cutter/franchise shops but if you want a craft pizza from some local guys order from the greatest shop in the Metro Milwaukee area.

Alphonso's delivered 15 piping hot, delicious pizzas to us today for a company event. People couldn't get over how good they were and kept asking who made these pizza - Alphonso's The Original! Plus, they opened early to deliver them in time for lunch. They made everything from scratch: the dough, the sauce -- so good! Highly recommend!

The guys that work there are super chill. Pizza was great. It's a little hole in the wall spot that makes great pizza. Well done guys! I'll be back!

I have had many of the menu items and have not been disappointed. The pizza crust is one of the best I have ever had and the cheese bread is my favorite. Great place, small but friendly. Go here for carryout if you are in the area. Call ahead so you don't have to wait.

Great pizza. It takes time to make magic like that happen. I got a pepperoni and bacon and it was the best ive had in Milwaukee hands down. big chunks of bacon, loads of cheese and great sauce.
