The staff at this Budget location are great. I rent regularly for work and am always greeted with a smile and great service. The pick up and drop off process is seamless.

Cheapest car online was $24 a day, they told me those were out, U.S. Open was making things busier than normal. Mid-sized car was going to be $80 a day because of demand. Went to Enterprise and got a full sized SUV for $50 a day and found out the "event" causing the spike in demand at budget actually happened the month prior. Book online or they will lie to you.

I'm honestly thinking of moving to Wisconsin because of how awesome Bailey was on Sunday. I flew out from Portland on a Saturday to cross "go to a Packer game at Lambeau in December" off the bucket list. Those plans were nearly ruined on gameday when the Dodge Journey my buddy rented from the airport Budget decided to throw the red challenge flag on our trip. As we're leaving the hotel to drive to Lambeau, the 4 wheel drive went out...in the middle of a snowstorm!! We were forced to call an audible, but thankfully we didn't get far and found the downtown Budget location. We had to kill some clock for a bit until they opened, so we called the airport location to see what our options were. I don't remember the name of the woman at the airport location, so we'll call her Omarosa.
Omarosa was about as helpful texting advice from Brett Favre. We got nowhere with her. The airport Budget needs to hit the waiver wire for better desk agents. But, I'm not here to criticize the officiating at the airport location. This review is meant to point out that there are still great people out there working in customer service and Bailey is one of them. Bailey put together an unbelievable game plan and it allowed us to get out of there in about 10 minutes with a Jeep Compass, and more importantly 4 wheel drive!! I'm entirely convinced if not for Bailey's efforts, we'd be stuck watching the game on TV that day and I'd be out the lifelong memory of going to Packer game at Lambeau.

As for the game, the Pack destroyed the Seahawks and Aaron Rodgers and crew did just enough to allow me to win my playoff matchup in my uber competitive Fantasy Football league. Without context the rest of the day involved roasting a pig, flip cup, adult superstore billboards, staged photos with my favs, and a long overdue truce between two former enemies.

Bailey made all that happen.

To summarize, if you are ever in the greater Milwaukee area and require transportation, I highly recommend skipping the airport rental car situation and go straight to Bailey and (I'm guessing) the other fine folks of Budget Downtown Milwaukee. By the looks of it, this isn't the first time they've helped facilitate a game winning drive.

3 stars because my experiences have not been consistent, I've rented from here a few times, are there no loyalty programs for the customers? If so the staff doesn't communicate it, twice we had horrible experiences and the other two times we've had the best experience were in the hands of the manager; Bill. It's s little disappointing when we don't see him, he's truly good to us, knowledgeable, friendly and excellent with customer care, 5 stars if we'd be able to know when he's working. Thanks Bill.
