The bar has turned around 180 degrees since Haley is gone !!!
The review by "Melissa Johnson" I'm willing to bet was written by Haley in a vindictive attempt to undermine the efforts of the owner and new management to climb out of the hole Haley drove the business into.
The staff is awesome and go out of they're way to make you feel like they appreciate you as a customer !!! Great new pool tables and always a drink special, usually bartenders choice which changes with the bartender.
Nicki, Kat, Brooke and Marie are awesome, can't believe Haley still comes there just to talk bad about the place !! It's way better without her !

I'm a local native of Colorado Springs and go into the bar a couple days a week. They have a fantastic happy hour dollar beers and free pool till 4, and at night they have an open mic night and poker! Since the management changed recently the atmosphere has chamged for the better. They've gotten new pool tables and cosy booths. I advocate supporting local small businesses and I can't recommend this place enough. The bar manager Marie puts her heart into making this the place you want to relax after a hard day at work or kick back on the weekends. Go in and meet the lovely bartenders, you'll keep going back I promise! Also to comment on "bring back Haley" I almost never came back to this bar because of her, the last time she was in there not only did she cornered one of her employees but yelled profanities at her, calling her every name you could think of, IN FRONT of the whole bar! We do not want Haley back she's unprofessional and crude.

I frequent the 8th St a couple times a week. Love this place. Friendly atmosphere, great staff. Marie, Niki and Brooke are awesome! Don't change a thing!

The place just isn't the same without Haley there. That girl marie was horrible. She was sloppy drunk and saying horrible things about Haley, showing her nasty boobs, ( which I didn't appreciate, I was there with my husband), and claiming she was now running the place?? Who ever put her in charge, SHAME ON YOU!! Everyone wants HALEY BACK!! We all watched Haley turn a weed into a flower and now it's becoming a weed again! When Haley was there it was a warm friendly place, now it's becoming a dive. Who ever is in charge..... bring Haley back, get rid of all your bartender's except Nicki and that place will make it, but if anything ,"GET RID OF MARIE"!!! Because we will never come back there if she is there!!! Thank you

When we walked in we waited quite a while to be acknowledged. Then when we were about to leave we realized the bartender was in the restroom and boy was she sweet! Nicki loves her patrons and will make sure you are enjoying yourself. The dollar drafts are great!
