Very convenient location for those in southwest Lubbock. But you rarely get the car you reserved.

These people will screw the smoking folks. We never smoked in the car and they accused my wife and I of smoking in it. They smelled the smoke on our clothes and then charged us the $250 cleaning fee. So if you are a smoker, beware. The Lubbock TX center on slide road are scam artist. And it is sad to see my home town be the worst jerks in the nation to deal with.

Worst experience ever with a rental car agency. Me and a group of friends were in need of a car and the lady was to us. While trying to discuss the purchase among us the lady behind the counter kept getting irritated and rudely demanded only one person be at the counter. Then she quoted us one price, and when she swiped the credit card she charged a much higher price without informing us that the amount had changed. Ultimately I had her cancel the transaction completely and went to Budget Rent A Car by the airport and got a much better deal along with much friendlier customer service.

The Avis at the Sears location is great! The customer service rep is very friendly and courteous. She is very accommodating when you have specific requests. Fast pick up and return. The cars are always in good condition and clean.

I feel sorry for the person that rated the Avis at the Sears Center poorly. These ladies are wonderful. I have rented from here several times and they have always been amazing every single time. I have seen though some customers be VERY rude to them when it is not necessary. And still through that they have been very courteous and straight forward. I recommend them for their service and their personable attitudes.
