I was referred by a friend to the Medi Spa to have a relaxing facial and massage for my Birthday.
I was pleasantly surprised with the personal attention and quality I received. I even spent time reviewing natural make-up and Skin care and was given samples !!! ... I will go back .. The staff is very fun and friendly .....

I don't normally write reviews but this is my favorite place because the massage specialists can do REALLY good deep tissue. They seem to know the muscles and areas to massage out really bad tension knots. Also, the environment is great. They dim the lights and play relaxing nature music. They use a warmer and a good smelling hot/cold ointment that melts away stress. Also, I've had a facial and micro-dermabrasion and loved these treatments, as well. The lady was fun to chat with and I did a glycolic peel which was great!

Long story short... My daughter and I had gift certificates for the spa. The massages we received were great. The second time we came, I had two gift cards which I thought had money on them. My daughter had a "generic" spa card which the generic spa site listed Medi-Spa as a provider. When we got to Medi-Spa, the owner informed her that her spa no longer honored the card. Both my daughter and I offered to pay for her half hour massage. The owner never heard that. She was so defensive, she was not listening.

When I came out of my massage, which went over (unknown to me), I was informed that I owed $32.00 and my daughter never received her massage. I got out my credit card and paid my bill. The owner claimed to have never heard that my daughter or I would pay for her massage (though my masseuse heard my daughter).

I called when I got home as I was very upset that my daughter sat in the spa for 1 1/2 hours and never got a massage. The owner accused me of trying to take advantage of her spa. She would not stop talking and raised her voice. I raised my voice and told her to listen, and she hung up on me.

The massage was great. The owner is a b----, who was defensive and was in no way willing to listen or even entertain the possibility that we are nice people. She wouldn't stop scolding us long enough to listen.

My daughter and I will not be going back!
