This place has very dirty kitchen, not working paper towels motion sensor, soap sensor doesn't work either, how workers wash their hand well I do not think they do it. Tables are so dirty and sticky. Walls have food pieces on it dry and sticky. we ordered food, but then canceled it, we were afraid to get food poisoning. We left. The waiter was almost shouting at us, when we were ordering and it was not loud in the room, I don't know why he was like that. Also while he was taking orders from us, he was scratching his beard a lot., that was disgusting. I will not be back.

One of my favorite places to eat in Fort Collins. I usually get the hot and spicy Gyro with Tzatziki sauce, and it is always amazing. The fries on the side are very delicious as well.

Cafe Athens is a hidden gem. The food is stellar, the service is attentive and courteous. Lamb gyros are worth the trip, but if Greece had a Bougatsa-based economy, they wouldn't need the EU to prop them up against financial ruin. My waiter recommended that delightful pastry and I don't know how I've survived this long without it.

Stopped at The Spice and Tea Exchange, when I was leaving I asked what was for lunch. They recommended Cafe Athens. They were so right. Very clean, friendly, and delicious. I would make the drive from Wyoming just for lunch. And the Baklava, oh my lord. I had to get one for there and one to go. It went great with the Greek Coffee.

I usually love Mediterranean food but was disappointed here, I ordered the hot and spicy gyro with tatziki with the side of vegetables. The gyro was okay, they use %100 beef which was disappointing because I usually expect lamb when ordering a gyro. The vegetables were awful, not seasoned at all, just cauliflower, carrots and celery steamed. I would've expected some sort of Mediterranean seasoning, maybe some olive oil. The one thing that impressed me was the feta and spinach bite appetizer. That was so phenomenal, would go back for those but would definitely order something different than the beef gyro and vegetables. Service was great though.
