Con-artistry, watch your back. Don't trust any of the facilitators here and second guess everything anyone tells you. Wherever there is money there's people doing shady stuff. This place is no exception. I was advised to take a course back to back with the same professor. That instructor was very ill equipped to be in that position. Every class period she made an effort to belittle the students and push her personal opinions as truths rather than teaching English. Half of the class stopped coming, and so did I because anticipation of the course was giving me anxiety attacks. I reported the professor, this was not handled correctly, take it to the executive office/principal or whatever, not the department heads, make it public, and go on rate my professor. Those courses caused a slump in my grades. I improved my GPA the next semester. Two semesters after this experience I was kicked out of college the day before my classes start and was told to take out a loan. I was told I could have gotten a refund for the misconduct of the professor but that deadline had passed. To summarize, administrators are misleading students, that includes the advisers, in not being truthful. This "college" does not publish a conduct or rule book for use about how situations are to be handled. I was taken advantage of, mislead, and in the end what was done was they took my FAFSA and grant money and gave me the boot... SCANDALOUS! If you are experiencing abuse, I suggest making it a public matter, colleges are not regulated, protect yourself, it's your future.

Micro aggressions aren't real. Ignore that delicate idiot.

Great teachers, small class sizes, friendly students of all ages. 2 thumbs up

As others have said some of the teachers are great. You can get a fantastic education here if that's what you really want. My problem comes from the instances of microaggression that a non-white student will undoubtably encounter here. During my time earning an associate of science degree there were many times that I experienced microaggressions coming from teachers, staff, and students. The problem lies in having little diversity within the student body and have almost no education for students related to diversity. Faculty, staff, and students should be given free access to education on the subject of diversity at any college, but especially one that is not particularly diverse. Consider researching the professors you want to take classes with, and that if you are a non-white student you may have a difficult time feeling safe in this space.

I have been having a wonderful experience at Front Range. Your professors care about your success and are willing to help you with your assignments if your having trouble. There are also resources like the Learning Opportunity Center were they provide free drop-in tutoring on most subjects and they will also provide you with a free one-on-one tutor for any subject. I wasn't sure of what I wanted to do with my life and a career counselor helped me to realize what I really wanted to do. Working here is also wonderful because they are flexible with your schedule and the staff here are friendly.Over all I enjoy attending Front Range Community College.
