This was once our go-to place. Something has changed over the last 6 months to a year. We used to feel comfortable bringing out-of-town guests here knowing the service was on point, prices were fair, and food was good as well as consistent. We have since had 2 bad experiences with "new to Fort Collins" people. In the latest the nicoise salad, a classic and favorite there came with canned black olives rather than kalamata olives, the potatoes came slices, fine except they were ice cold, so much so that the oil was congealed on them and the egg was fried! rather than hard-boiled. it was just bizarre and the server very much shrugged me off, in addition to not checking in at all during our meal (all 4 of us wanting refills) despite being in our area he just was not checking in. We also used to love the fish and chips but this last time it was not the same, crust was moist- yuck. I tried to quietly notify Crown Pub about the latest experience via a Facebook message (no email on the website) and I never received a response.

I said I would never return after the 1-2 oz portion of duck I was served 9 years ago, but I did, and so after my most recent visit, they climb from 1 star to 3. I still wouldn't order duck at this location, for fear that I would once again get a pidgeon. Our waitress was very professional and personable, and the portions were pretty good, but the taste of the food still wasn't where it needs to be.

Great place to eat. King curry excellent. Good burger and steaks. Atmosphere great. Good price for food and when compared to other Ft Collins restaurants.

This is a great place to go in have a beer and have a bite to eat. The staff is friendly and on their game. The prices are reasonable and the food is pretty good. It's always a great place to get together with friends.

I absolutely love the crown pub! If I were given the choice to go anywhere in Fort Collins this would be my go-to place. Every time I go there I am surprised by how great everything is. The waiters and waitresses are always nice and fun to talk to. I have never been disappointed. If you want to come here I recommend the pub steak or the fish and chips. I love everything here and I don't understand some of the more negative comments. This place is wonderful and I totally recommend it to anyone looking for a fun place and great restaurant to spend the evening at. 10/10 everything. Definitely going back.
