Delicious and quick. All meats/fish grilled to order, and fresh salsa bar is yummy. Good kids menu options too. Whole family loves La Luz!

I eat here a couple times a week and I got to say the food is great my favorite is the gourmet burritos smother to be exact with the salsa Verde mmmm.. I always go for the shrimp burrito but anything else on the menu is real good.

Unlike most Mexican restaurants, this one is authentic. They even sell plates of mixed food instead of the standard burritos and enchiladas you have to buy in other cafes. Salsa bar is outstanding. Only downside is the decor and grimy tables.

My family came for a bite to eat while perusing downtown Fort Collins. Our consensus was, at best, this bar is a 3/5. The beer was cold, but our table was dirty, we weren't even acknowledged upon entering and our food took over 45 minutes to an hour to arrive. As other commenters have said, the portions are decent, but the flavor and substance are not. Can't comment on the chips or salsa because they "ran out" for dinner on a busy Saturday night. We all experienced an upset stomach later that night and the following day. Burrito Del Mar, fish tacos, and veggie burrito filled our stomachs but the best part of the whole evening was the churros that were half cooked.

My recommendation is to go for drinks, not food.
