To me it has dropped from a five star restaurant to a two-star canned food restaurant at one time it was one of the best eating restaurants there was soul food none if they have learned to public Trust

This is one of my favorite places when I come back to Chattanooga. Von our server is awesome and the most efficient server that i have ever met. Thanks for great food.

My uncle came In Town today from Kansas and wanted some good soul food. Had been to Herman's before and food was very good but boy o boy was I disappointed today!! I brought my little kids with me, we had to wait almost an hour for or food as we watched every one come in, be served and leave. I was starting to wonder if it might be the color of my skin. Then when we got out order, they gave me creamed corn for fried corn which the waitress insisted was fried. And my uncle ordered fried corn also and got fried okra. Brought it to the attention of only waitress working and she just kind of laughed it off. I was trying to maintain my composure but I was really pissed off. Terrible service, medocre food today. The kids got broccoli with cheese as their side. Was steamed broccoli with a piece of Kraft cheese microwaved on top. Honestly??!!!

Great food. I prefer to call in advance for take out orders but their line is usually busy. However, the food is worth waiting in the long line. Adding an online ordering system would help.
