Day 3: Bwindi Forest – Kampala After early breakfast, start the drive back to Kampala with a stop over for lunch enroute and other places of interest like souvenir selling points along the highway. Arrive Kampala late afternoon / early evening.

Six (6) Groups of Gorillas have been habituated for Tourism – Mubare group with 5 gorillas; Habiyanja group with 18 gorillas; Rushegura group with 19 Gorillas; Bitukura group with 13 Gorillas; Nkuringo group with 19 Gorillas and Nshongi group with 36 gorillas.

Apart from gorillas, the Park is also home to chimpanzees, blue monkeys, red tailed monkeys and Black and White Colobus monkeys. Even for the non birder, you will notice how rich the Forest is in terms of different bird species like the blue Turacos that are often seen.

Bring jungle boots and rain jackets because the Park is often wet.
