Bohio Dive Resort

We recently visited for our yearly dive trip. I'm very glad we choose this resort as it's geared toward diving and enjoying the beach (when not below the water).
The owners, Ginny and Tom were very accommodating to our travel changes, as we were trying to escape Houston before Harvey kept us grounded.
Once we arrived, we were nicely greeted by Ginny and given a tour of the grounds and a lovely "welcome" cocktail.

The food and chef were amazing!! We were pleased with every meal. The chef even made our friend a birthday cake!

I cannot say enough about the diving and the dive masters. We saw something unique on each of our 12 dives!! We are definitely considering making this a yearly trip for our dive group.

Just want to say a huge "Thank You" to all the wonderful staff. We left feeling that this was our own private resort and truly felt like family by the end of our stay!

We found this place by chance during a cruise and agreed that the few hours we spent in this picturesque resort were the highlight of the trip.

Staff is friendly and helpful. We dove 5 consecutive days and enjoyed them all. The wall is spectacular, but I liked the reefs above the wall just as much.

STIFF DRINKS!! ALL bartenders have VERY heavy hands!! Beach is nice. We did not stay at this resort. We were on a cruise ship and just came by to snorkel and swim a bit. Only issue was the food prices!!! The cheapest thing on the menu was chicken fingers @ $18.00. Eat a big breakfast before you get off the ship. Drink at the bar and eat a Guys burger when you get back on the ship and save yourself 150.00 in food!!

Definitely has all the components to be a 5 star secluded resort. It's not huge, the location and structure is perfect. Beautiful water and nice bar, restaurant, hotel. The wait staff was surprisingly rude and very anti-social. There were 6 people at the beach bar and the bartenders were very rude when we asked for drinks, so we (as well as everyone else who we witnessed) left and traveled on up the beach. With more friendly service, this place would be the premier stop for beach goers.
Evaluate your employees for success; you have a beautiful resort/bar/restaurant.
