Gorgeous posh accommodation. Smoking only by the pool. Friendly personnel. Check nearby Shazada for better food though. Must - Kopyt Dag restaurant further in town, excellent grill and fancy snacks. Breakfast buffet is plenty.

Superior hotel in Ashgabat in the Presidential House area. International environment. Excellent breakfast.

Not a distant place. Difficult to get there especially in the morning hours. Good kitchen but too expensive.

Very good hotel, and of the three Turkmenistan hotels I have stayed in this is in another world. I have stayed 10nts over four trips during the last one year It is clean, comfortable, quiet and well maintained. Friendly staff, as others report. Breakfast is well suited to W. Europe tastes. Meals are surprisingly good and prepared with care although prices are at least W. Europe levels. The area is a little quiet due to the imposing neighbouring palace, but i'm told there's a nice cafe a 5min walk away. I have not used the pool but it is spotless and the loungers look to be good - people sitting out last night enjoying a drink in the cooler evening air - all looked very civilised!
