Beautiful garden with a variety of plants and flowers. It is very peaceful and makes for a great afternoon stroll. It is a close walk from the station.

Beautiful collection of plants in greenhouses representing different climate zones. I liked especially the orchids and tropical house.

Crossing the bridge to the botanic gardens will give you a fanatic view of the old city along the side of the river. Although compact, the botanic gardens is diverse with a range of displays. The cafe on one of the garden terraces is buzzing with people enjoying freshly brewed barista coffee but if you want to escape the noise, there are plenty of places to find solitude in the garden.

Awesome view on the Aare. Many different plants and animals from all around the world. Good place to relax or study
