A clean place, very nice people. If you're gonna be a few days in Madrid it's really good option.
You have free breakfast and all the nights there free sangria with all the guys in the hostal.
I wasn't sure about this place before I came, but I can say now take it.

Affordable and clean place situated near everything. The rooms have lockers where you can keep your bags, and there is free breakfast from 8-10 every morning (basic and cheap, but free). Good place is you are traveling alone and are on a budget.

A busy, huge hostel. Free breakfast is nice - toast, jam, cereal. Check in was easy. Location is excellent.

Good and cheap hostel. Clean place. Friendly staff. There was a free tour around the city, which was really nice too, try it out if you have time for it.

A solid hostel choice in a great location with a very smooth system of accessing the building, rooms, and lockers (you get a watch-like keyless entry wristband that's very hard to lose). Staff is friendly and helpful and the facilities are basic, but clean. Book online for a better deal, because if you just show up you might find an elevated rate. Don't factor extras like paella and sangria into the price; they're not worth much. Bring earplugs.
