Stayed on the first floor with 19 other people, things were fine but there were LOCALS with a bunch of stuff you should not expect from travelers, there is a permanent cat in my room walking around freely and nobody told me anything, some people may have issues with it and it not featured the cat in any website, no airflow so you can smell others people feet and no mirror in the toilet (too expensive I guess) but the owner is a nice person, the whole place is a "milestone" amongst all the hostels I've been so far.

Average location. Not far from busses that take you into town. The beds and dorms are fairly basic, but the mattresses are extra hard. + the breakfast is nothing special especially compared to local food. However, the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Amenities were great! But the bathrooms and showers were subpar. Beds are bunks as expected, but the mattresses are really dirty. Free breakfast is definitely a plus and for the price (cheapest hostel in Singapore), I definitely feel like it was worth it.

Really nice hostel with helpful staff and very tasty breakfast. Rooms are nice with a window and comfortable beds with air con. Highly recommended

The staff were friendly and the reception girl was cute. They gave me a dorm room locker towel etc for about 20 Singapore dollars. Free wifi. Good location if you want to visit markets etc, a lot of backpackers stay here. These are dorm rooms which would be the only downside.
