The place is closing soon for a major and much needed refurbishment. Let's hope it returns as one of the best hotels in Malta when it re-opens in 2020.

Great service and I highly reccomend the Therapeutic Spa bedrooms with private pool - the pool and the rooftop terrace, was well worth the price.

This hotel may be past its heydey but the poor reviews I've read about this place are so far from reality it's not even funny. There were a few staff members that were not incredibly friendly (as there are everywhere), but in general the staff was super friendly. The food was also great (we had the all inclusive option). The drinks were also pretty good.

There could be some training done for the staff to make them aware of things going on in the resort outside of their regular working area, but that's the only negative I can say about this place. It also offers one of the best views in Malta at the pool and from some rooms, and I would absolutely recommend this place to others and would definitely return myself.

The people who are complaining about this place are nit-picking. Try it out for yourself and you won't be disappointed.

The hotel is old but well built. The spa facilities are extensive. The rooms are fine.
The layout along with the sister hotel next door is extremely confusing and it's easy to get lost. The garden views share with the neighbours from another building at the back. Pool area is really good though.
