Good hotel on Bridge street in Waterford city. Small car park off Mary street, otherwise park on Merchant's Quay, 4.40 for 24 hours. Good breakfast including berry smoothie, and soaked oats with nuts and berries. Friendly reception staff. Free Wi-Fi. We paid 105 BB for a family room on a Mon/Tue in July. Paid 149 BB for a Friday in August.

Spent two nights here. This hotel is well located in Waterford city close to everything in the city centre. Our room was well furnished and very comfortable and we had lovely meals in the hotel. The staff was very helpful and friendly.
The car park is a bit small, so you might have to park elsewhere, particularly later in the afternoon. However parking in the area is reasonably priced and easy to find along the quays.
Would definitely recommend it.

Complete let down!
Hard beds (would be more comfortable on the floor) and dull, out dated and unclean bathrooms! Partner went for a bath and was greeted by blood in the bath!! There is horrible black grout the entire way around the bathroom and the border of the bath is nearly falling off the wall!
Heat is nearly unbearable but wouldn't dare open the windows with the noise of the road at my feet! We have stayed at other hotels for half the price and they have been fantastic compared to this! Can't believe we have another night to spend here and would nearly prefer the 4 hour drive home than to spend another sleepless night!
Neither me or my partner are picky about hotels but this was a severe let down for both of us especially as it was for my birthday :(

Nice room. Can be a bit loud at night with the windows open (which they will be in the summer since there is no AC). The discounted parking lot has fairly small spaces so things get tight

Very pleasant stay. Have stayed here twice now staff very nice. Nice and clean. Food in the bar was very nice. They have great deals if you go to there main website
