A huge oval shaped palace-like complex encapsulates 2 large outdoor thermal baths separated by a swimming pool. You can walk around the building itself finding an abundance of baths, saunas and steam rooms of all temperatures and sizes. There are cabins and lockers to store luggage and towel hire etc available. There's a restaurant and bar too which I didn't use.

We had the worst experience at this place! Firstly, the cashier who was supposed to provide us with all the information was acting really cocky, and told us that only a Thai massage was available and when we prodded more, she was not at all helpful. We were asked to pay 60€(for myself and my husband), and after an exhausting day, and the fact that we had heard great reviews about the spa, we decided to go ahead.
The cashier told us that our massage was scheduled at 2100 hours, but it was only 1930 hours when we paid for it. So, we decided to take a stroll till then and then check out the other facilities inside(which the cashier had not informed us about).
Once we reached the Thai massage facility, the receptionist at that counter informed us that we had reached just in time before they closed(2000 hours!), and informed us that at the entrance, we had only paid an entrance fee of 60€ and the massage had separate fees! We were so shocked and annoyed to hear that, yet we proceeded to pay extra for the massage.
After the massage, we wanted to ask the cashier at the entrance about this, and she coolly told us that the 60€ included the thermal bath(which is what it's famous for), sauna and steam! When we asked her why she didn't tell us when we had asked her earlier and if we could go back again, she was really condescending and told us that we have to pay again to get inside.
What irritated us most was the attitude of the staff there. Extremely condescending and zero information provided to tourists. We were literally scammed at this place. I would not even give one star to this terrible place! It completely ruined our experience at Budapest and this is the first thing we remember when we think about the city.

First of all, I think 1 out of 5 stars is inaccurate to represent what I feel about this place. It was an extremely unpleasant experience for us, as, while we entered we were hardly given any information regarding the facilities available. We entered after being informed that only the Thai massage was available. We had arrived at around 1900 hours and there were a good 3 hours before they closed down for the day. We were quite appalled as to why they could only offer a Thai massage which was quite generic. But that’s only the first of many other issues that we faced.

Once the cashier had billed us 60€ (for 2 persons) she had informed that the Thai massage was scheduled for 2100 hours(an hour before closing time) which we found a little strange. But for some reason we felt like going up to the massage room to check out whether they were queued up till then. The space was literally empty and the attendant informed us that there were only 5 minutes left before they made the last entry who further added that the 60€ that we paid was only for entering the premises, and that we have to pay an additional 36€ for a basic 30 min massage, which we did, and proceeded.

The massage was quite relieving and it made us forget all the miseries faced earlier.

Once we headed back out after the massage we tried to avail the spa, pool and sauna access(which was included in the cover charge but not informed to us), but the attendant told that since we came out it isn’t possible to go back in.

The service was extremely sub standard for an organisation of this level. I highly recommend against it.

I had a brilliant time here this morning. There are three large outdoor baths, one for swimming (note that for this one you need to bring or buy for 1000HUF a swimming hat), one that is very warm and another which is a moderately warm temperature with a whirlpool in the middle. Inside there are more smaller pools which are different again. The signs for the indoor facilities were all in Hungarian and I couldn't understand them but I enjoyed all the indoor facilities (which includes a sauna) nonetheless. There are numerous water fountains around, mainly indoors (don't be fooled if the staff in the changing rooms tell you you have to buy water, don't! Take a bottle and fill it up). I thoroughly enjoyed myself, it is a perfect morning/afternoon out for anyone visiting Budapest.

Lovely facility, staff are super friendly and helpful. Very good English. Food and drinks on sight is good but bringing your own maybe better. We took a cabin each, very helpfully for keep things safe and opening through out the day. However, pool side gets very hot in the sun. My sister and I were burning our feet walking between pools so I recommend taking pool shoes or flip flops
