Prague Overview Tour

Precious Legacy Tours s.r.o.

Approximately 4 hours
Prague has a rich and eventful history, and the relics of this story are still visible all over the city today. An Overview of the city will introduce you to this colourful story, focusing on the four districts (The Old TOwn, New Town, Little Quarter and Castle District) which, together with the Jewish Quarter, make up Prague's historical heart. You'd see Prague Castle - the largest surviving castle complex in Europe - and the spectacular neo-Gothic Cathedral of St. Vitus which lies at its heart. We'd walk you down the Old Castle Stairs into the Little Quarter, home to Prague's riche burghers and artisans of the 17th and 18th centuries, and still filled with the Renaissance churches and chateaus they built as displays of their wealth. We'd walk with you across the iconic Charles Bridge, built over six and half centuries ago and lined with beautiful statues of Catholic saints. You'll see the Astronomical Clock in the Old Town Square, as well as the last surviving remnant of the Old Town's wall at Republic Square. You'd see the National Museum at the top of Wenceslas Square, from which the fall of communism was declared in 1989, the State Opera House, Frank Gehry's Dancing Building and much more.
