This bar is in a beautiful historical building with lots of cool little arcitectural features and carvings. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. There wasn't a big crowd there. The drinks were great. The service was a bit slow but the wait staff were very friendly.

walked in and hostes was seated at bar, she did not bother to get up and great us just said hi from chair. ordered nachos to start and got half a bag of tasteless nacho chips with some veg sprinkled on one or two nachos. worst nacho plate i ever was served. ordered a burger and fries... fries were good but burger was dry bun was solid it was so stale and the one leaf of lettuce did not cover the half slice of tomato in it. tried to eat half of it but it was so dry i gave up. service was slow and we had people from other tables come ober to steal oir napkins because they could not get service. flower arrangment was one dried out twig in a mason jar. table was sticky...televisions too small to see anything....all in all a bad place. wont go back.

I don't usually write reviews but the experience I had here last night was ridiculous. Me and my boyfriend went here late last night to get some appetizers and a beer. When the food got to our table we noticed the garlic bread was completely raw. We ignored and ate the other food we ordered. When the waiter came to get our food he asked if we wanted the garlic bread packed up since we didn't even touch it. We said no look it is not even cooked, the waiter agreed and said he was sorry and that he would "talk to the chef". When it was time to pay he did not even bring us an actual bill just told us our total, so we asked to have it and if we were charged for the 8$garlic bread and he said yes he had no choice... You have no choice but to charge us for food that we #1 did not enjoy and didn't even eat because it was not even cooked, how is that good customer service? It's 8 dollars.. and it was the right thing to do. Me and my boyfriend used to come here VERY often but for this we will not be returning and will not recommend to anyone. Enjoy your 8$ .. Maybe this is why your empty on a Saturday night.

Stumbled upon this place for breakfast. Realized that the bread they used in the breakfast buffet had a big patch of fungus. Apart from killing my appetite, the casual way in which the guys just said, 'oh we are sorry, we will replace it with the next batch' ruined the mood. Yes, nice ambience and friendly waitresses, but this? Come on. Could have been dealt better.

Nice ambience. When I was there, I went with friends. We left a different bar because it was getting really rowdy, with post-hockey game revellers cheering and chanting so loudly that we couldn't hear ourselves speak. Those revellers followed us to Woody's, but the staff quickly asked them to keep it down. They were out of half of the beers on the menu that night, but it was a good time otherwise.
