Clocktower Brew Pub Glebe

Clocktower is located in the heart of one of Ottawa's most interesting neighbourhoods. Though you'll find a Works Burger nearby, and several other places which offer tasty fare, Skip them all and head straight here. The menu is eclectic, offering traditional pub fare (we adore their Steak and Mashed, Fish and Chips, Wings, and other staples) as well as an almost west coast flavour menu which includes such items as a Peanut Chicken Bowl, Salmon with Soba Noodles and Wild Boar Rigatoni. We also sampled their beers on tap. This place will not let you down. Tried and True!

The beer is alright. The music playing outside is rather loud. Great view of the sunset. They put cinnamon in my pumpkin beer. Don't know what to think on that one.

Pretty disappointed with Clocktower today, I was part of the beer run and they were one of the sponsor bars. They gave us their worst beer (the cherry sour or something like that), my friends, it was disgusting. Most runners described it as 'how it feels in your mouth after you throw up' and when I asked the bartenders, they said they knew about it. You just lost a bunch of customers.

The food was great and and so wasn't the price. Very clean and a friendly atmosphere.
Recommending this to all that pass through Ottawa Canada!

Great patio with ample space and awesome location. Atmosphere is great with the big cisterns in the back able to be viewed from the restaurant. That is where they are brewing their own brand of beer that is available in house. The downstairs offers a great venue for some live performances.
